A successful transformation of the automotive industry requires education/qualification of employees along the value chain. The B³ Batterie-Bildungsnetzwerk Bayern, as a “Battery Competence Trio” will make a substantial contribution through tailormade qualification concepts for employees of small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) throughout Bavaria. In B3, the consortium will develop these qualification concepts along the battery value chain in the form of short-term modules (Modul-Batt), process-oriented measures (APO-Batt) and training for company training staff, “train-the-trainer” (Coach-Batt). The qualification offerings, developed by a research/technical partner (university or research institution) with a didactic partner (education provider) in an iterative process, have a practical relevance and address the real-world needs of the target groups. B3 Bayern is intended to have practical orientation, complete with hands-on modules in learning laboratories at the research partners and is complemented by virtual learning units in a learning management system (LMS), which makes it possible to offer modular “learning journeys”.
